SYNUA, Armoured Pivot Door
Space, light and colours characterise the villa located in the hills of Silicon Valley. The design proposal aims to integrate the form and function of the house with the outdoor environment to create a relaxing dialogue with the surrounding atmosphere.
Innovative elements include an outdoor kitchen, a home theatre system, a modern wine cellar, Italian aluminium windows, a Synua pivot entrance door, a leather-clad lift and a large infinity pool.
Located in the hills of Cupertino, this private residence follows the shape of the landscape. Designed by architect Louie Leu, this hilly property consists of the central core, an outbuilding and a swimming pool. The L-shape of the house, located at the top of the hill, offers an unprecedented panoramic view on the Silicon Valley.
The project combines high-end design with a commitment to sustainability: the villa is equipped with a photovoltaic system, a rainwater harvesting system and exterior cladding.
The project has been realised in such a way that the form and function of the house can be integrated with the outdoor environment to create a positive impact on the lives of people who can enjoy a relaxed and elegant atmosphere.
The interconnection of the different elements of the house forms a modern sculptural composition, a contemporary house that integrates luxury design with commitment to green buildings.
