A concentrate of innovation and technology. Tekno is the safety door with concealed hinges characterized by high-end performance and EI 90 or EI120 fire resistance. It can be installed flush with internal wall, flush with external wall, flush with plasterboard wall, interior coplanar with surround.

The door with concealed hinges:

Single leaf: maximum feasible size 1300 x 3000 mm (other sizes on request)
Double leaf: maximum feasible size with double leaf 1900 x 3000 mm (other sizes on request)
High thermal insulation
Fire resistance EI 90 – EI 120 – UL 120
Door profiles and frame covering profiles in steel brushed aluminum as standard without visible screws
Motorized electronic lock with integrated access control system on request

Tekno in the double leaf version meets to needs requiring clean shapes, yet solemnity in the architectural style of the entrance.

Adjustable concealed hinges

Tekno features a 100° opening that comes from an exclusive hinge that is completely invisible when the door is closed. This is a valuable detail that allows designers to express a new sense of strength and essentiality, highlighting the line and finish.

Aluminum cover profiles without visible screws

The aluminum finish in brushed steel covers the frame and the door profile. No screw is visible, a
special feature that guarantees a thorough cleaning and refined aesthetics.

Synua Wall System - The wall conveying to the environment the aesthetics of Oikos doors

The Synua Wall System exploits the perfect coplanarity of Oikos doors in order to create walls that share the same aesthetic concept. Consisting of modular sectors that can be covered with different materials, SWS creates spectacular wall systems. A wall-door that combines the scenic and aesthetic effect with safety, elegance, and protection.

The lock at the service of architecture

Management system configurable with the Oikos Arckey App.

Owner's keys box

All Oikos safety doors are supplied with a building site key to be used for production checks and by technicians entrusted with installation tasks. The owner's keys, on the other hand, are always supplied sealed inside a special elegant box.

Arckey system

The Oikos Arckey App is the integrated access management system that allows the electronic opening directly from a smartphone. The opening of the door with remote button, the user management, and the control of access flows are just some of the functions allowed by the management through App. The Arckey App can be downloaded for free from the App Store (iOS) or from Google Play (Android).

Card Reader

The Arckey system foresees, as a complementary system to the door opening, the use of the Oikos Card to be placed directly next to the leaf.

The leaf opening can take place by entering a code on a touch screen support.

Fingerprint Reader

Opening the entrance can be done simply through fingerprint recognition. Integrated in the door and minimal in terms of aesthetics and functionality, the fingerprint reader does not require keys or magnetic cards but only the use of the finger.

Tekno - Fire Resistance

On request, it is possible to install the E16, EI 120 fire-barrier according to EU standards. The Tekno UL 120 door, certified by the UL laboratory, is instead a guarantee of compliance with the rigorous U.S. standards for the manufacture of doors that can withstand fire for 120 minutes.

Hurricane-proof

The Miami Dade-certified Tekno door, issued by the County of Miami, ensures that it meets stringent quality standards in door designs that can withstand extreme wind loads caused by hurricanes.

Free façade

Oikos proposes "free façade", a new architectural solution in which the safety door is inserted in a seamless wall for a perfect integration of the leaf with the overall finishes. No visible opening elements, motorized opening and access via the Oikos Tech App. Free Façade has officially become part the ADI Design Index 2016

Floor closing element (or draught excluder)

Standard draught excluder

A floor device that, when the door is closed, correctly insulates a room from cold air draughts, smoke, dust and noise, contributes to greater living comfort and also guarantees savings in the energy needed for air conditioning. The draught excluder perfectly closes the gap between the leaf and the floor.

Solution with Mose Kit

The use of the Mose threshold is necessary when you want to obtain maximum performance and the installation site features a non-homogeneous floor.

Solution with Dam kit

The ultimate solution in terms of invisible threshold performance! The Dam kit allows a high isolation from external agents totally eliminating architectural barriers. Solution installable only when there is a homogeneous plan.
