SYNUA, Armoured Pivot Door
For the private villa in San Julian, a home with a modern, urban chic look, the Oikos Synua door was chosen, a touch of Made in Italy elegance that warms the environment and makes it impeccable.
A house overlooking the bay of San Julian and La Valletta. The project consists in the demolition and reconstruction of a terrace house in the city of St. Julian (Malta), to make it more functional to the needs of the family. The new house, with three elevations, stands out from the traditional adjacent buildings thanks to the unified design of its facade, totally glazed and outlined by a reinforced concrete frame. A system of aluminum slats acts as a sunshade and characterizes the façade on the road.
A fully glazed façade features Synua, whose natural oak cladding lends warmth and elegance to the entire structure.
In addition, the project is characterized by the linear staircase, the emptiness of the first floor on the entrance hall and the fully glazed patio that brings light and the green areas inside the house. On the top floor, in front of the penthouse, set back from the street, the solarium with swimming pool offers a panoramic view of the wonderful landscape of the Maltese coast.
