2023 was a year marked by the renovation of our home, the Atelier of Gruaro – on the outskirts of Venice – and the holding of numerous Oikos Experiences.
In May, work was completed to make our showroom an even more welcoming and inspiring place. A place that offers a unique immersive experience. Thanks to its new look, not only in terms of space but also in terms of meaning, every visitor is invited on a journey of discovery of Made in Italy and the values that distinguish Oikos.
More than that, the studio is an exhibition space capable of bridging the present and the past, the local and the international, tradition and innovation.
What about the Oikos Experience? What do they mean to us?
Opportunities. To get to know the company outside the ordinary, to experience the heritage of culture that flows around, through, inspires and is capable of expanding thought.
It is not only about experiencing the places of daily production and work, but also immersing oneself in the world in which Oikos is embedded.
The programme we propose is divided into two parts. One that takes the visitor on a tour of the company, to the places where craftsmanship meets industrial organisation and entrance architecture. One dedicated to the cultural experiences that have helped shape the Oikos DNA. Iconic locations from the past tracing the artistic activities of Palladio, Canova, Scarpa or contemporary, immersive locations such as the Fondazione Querini Stampalia and the Venice Biennale.
Since May 2023 to date, 230 people have had this extraordinary experience, which we offer on a regular basis. We intend to continue in 2024, sharing our cultural heritage and spreading our values.
