PROJECT, The interior door with concealed hinges
The residential skyscraper includes a wide range of different spaces and functionalities which, thanks to the sophisticated use of shapes and materials, it was possible to encompass in a single, complete creation: for the entrance spaces, interior designer Michal Han selected Oikos with its Project interior door line, characterised by concealed hinges and, in this specific case, white lacquer.
The design for the public spaces and the main entrance of the W Prime towers began as an emotional and sensual experience. Even before defining the shapes, compositions and colours, the goal was to offer the visitor a strong and unique experience the instant they cross the threshold of the building. It was decided to place the focus on the central part of the structure, giving a sense of softness and fluffiness achieved thanks to the concrete tiles that convey the effect of light, fine sheets of crumpled silk as if they were part of an enormous frozen iceberg.
The view quickly rests on the reception desk that offers soft, sensual curves. The entire building is surrounded by very inviting lounges and armchairs that entice guests to try them out. The emotional experience for visitors is therefore continuous and involves them at every turn: inside the lifts as well as in the individual dwellings. The construction includes a wide range of different spaces and functionalities which, thanks to the sophisticated use of shapes and materials, it has been possible to encompass in one complete creation.
