A threshold of light between material, architecture and connection
From 22 to 25 September 2026, we will be at Marmomac, the leading international trade fair dedicated to the natural stone industry.
For this edition, we have chosen to express our presence through something that has always been at the heart of our research: the entrance.
We have created a special Oikos entrance architecture clad in backlit onyx, designed as the threshold to Osteria dell’Architetto, hosted in Hall 11 at Veronafiere and a project of which Oikos is a main partner.
Material and light come together in an architectural element that goes beyond the simple function of separating two spaces, interpreting the entrance instead as a place of passage, connection and encounter.
An entrance that leads to dialogue
For the first time, Osteria dell’Architetto comes to Marmomac, transforming Hall 11 into a place dedicated to conviviality, exchange and dialogue.
Created in 2023 by Fiorenzo Valbonesi and Roberto Bosi, the format brings together architecture, wine and territory through experiences built around conversation and sharing.
Following the events and tours we have shared with Osteria dell’Architetto over the past few years, Marmomac marks a new chapter in the project: a place where visitors can pause during the fair, slow down and rediscover the value of meeting and exchanging ideas.
The Osteria will be open every day from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
At the heart of the programme is the return of “An hour with…”, the daily 12:00 pm event bringing four leading figures in contemporary architecture to the Osteria counter:

And it is through this threshold of light, created in backlit onyx, that we will welcome architects and visitors at Marmomac.
