Oikos Venezia celebrates 35 years of vision and beauty with a cultural visit to the Gallerie dell’Accademia
Following the inspiration gathered at the Salone del Mobile, Oikos Venezia chose a special and meaningful way to celebrate its birthday on May 5th, 2025, marking 35 years of innovation, craftsmanship, and vision.
To mark the occasion, the company invited its collaborators to a series of guided tours of the Corpi Moderni exhibition at the Gallerie dell’Accademia in Venice, held from May 5th to 9th.

Three key moments have shaped the company’s evolution, as shared by President Mario Biancolin during his interview at the Salone del Mobile 2025:
- 1990: the founding of Oikos Venezia, planting the seed of a new approach that would later flourish — transforming the entrance door from a mere functional element into an architectural component.
- 2005: the affirmation of the concept of entrance architecture, with the introduction of Synua, a large vertical pivoting security door that redefined the role of the entrance in contemporary spaces.
- 2025: participation in the Salone del Mobile, marking a new phase of openness and dialogue with the international design community, highlighting the fusion of art, technology, and vision.

The Corpi Moderni exhibition offered a valuable opportunity to reflect on these values, with works exploring the human body as a site of expression, transformation, and identity. Among the highlights was Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece, Vitruvian Man, a universal symbol of harmony between art and science — and a perfect synthesis of the vision that guides Oikos Venezia.
As the anniversary week came to a close, we took a moment to reflect on what truly defines Oikos Venezia: people, culture, and a shared vision of beauty.
The visit to the Gallerie dell’Accademia was more than a celebration — it was a chance to reconnect with the artistic and cultural roots that continue to inspire our daily work.
A simple yet meaningful gesture that reminds us of the importance of nurturing our gaze, curiosity, and sense of beauty — values that have accompanied us for 35 years and will continue to guide us with respect and dedication.
