Oikos Experience Redentore 2025: the wonder of belonging
Every year, Venice lights up with one of its most heartfelt traditions: the Festa del Redentore.
For Oikos, this moment goes beyond celebration. It’s an opportunity to open the doors of our world and welcome Italian and international clients, suppliers, and collaborators on a journey that blends culture, architecture, material, and beauty.
This year too, Oikos Experience Redentore was more than just an evening.
It was a structured experience, a collective story unfolding between the city of Venice, the Veneto mainland, and our headquarters — the beating heart of our identity.
An itinerary of culture and vision
We guided our guests through an immersive journey designed to share the roots that define us:
- Venice, with its iconic landmarks and artistic spirituality: from the Scuola Grande di San Rocco to the Basilica dei Frari, passing through the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s Square.
- The Veneto mainland, following in the footsteps of Palladio and Scarpa, among architecture, sculpture, and landscape: the Brion Memorial, Villa di Maser, Tipoteca Italiana, and the Gypsotheca Canoviana, visited by candlelight.
- The Oikos universe, with access to our production Arsenale and our Atelier, where our entrance architectures take shape and substance.
Redentore: an open gesture
The highlight of the experience was the day of Redentore:
a navigation through the lagoon islands, from Burano to Murano, where we witnessed the magic of master glassmakers and enjoyed an exclusive dinner in the enchanting Glass Cathedral.
A moment of rare intensity, enriched by the visit to the Cattedrale di Najean, an ancient furnace transformed into a creative temple by glass artist Aristide Najean.
Finally, we sailed toward the Bacino di San Marco, where the sky lit up with the famous fireworks show that has celebrated the city’s liberation from the plague of 1575–1577 for over five centuries.
