An exceptional place, the cradle of «shaping visual culture» to tell what we thought, designed and built in this long time of gestation. Because never more than in this moment we do need Rebirth! Welcome back to Oikos!
This was the incipit that started the 3 days of Oikos Venezia, a meeting event with client partners after so many months of distance, a moment of updating staggered over 3 days, in compliance with the most careful safety measures required by the current situation, have made possible the dream of meeting each other and exchanging ideas.
Many new features were presented, the result of a year of intense work, during which the entire team never stopped believing in and elaborating on what is new, creating tools, renewing the image, giving shape to the variety of contents that the company has developed, reorganized and fine-tuned during this time of intrepid waiting for the restart.
The founding values that have served as a guide and beacon are those that the company loudly manifests today: «the centrality of the people of the entire supply chain, the value of the designers who collaborate and create with us new interpretations of entrance architectures, the accent on our Arsenalità – the ability to produce with artisan attention a product that lives within an industrialized process – and still the desire to show our places, our production, our showroom are essential and distinctive elements of our way of being» says Fabio Buscato, founding partner of the company, during the opening of the meetings.
Then, the official presentation of the new corporate image followed, starting from the summary of the values that have been accompanying Oikos for some years now: «Explore. Believe. Create.», much more than an advertising claim, a way of being, of designing and producing, a synthesis that involves everyone who comes into contact with the company.
«Explore. Believe. Create.» became the guiding thought that led to the remaking of the company’s main catalogs, the daily tools with which we introduce ourselves and that could not be exempted from their very nature» – they continue to tell:
«l’archivio – l’arsenale – l’atelier» is the introduced trilogy, the immense work of an evolution of existing tools, revised in terms of image, content and function.

l’archivio – «L’Archivio is a photographic archive, it is that precious place where the images that we want to preserve, set off and transmit are kept». A source of inspiration, this is its function, in order to explore new possible worlds and imagine design solutions of potentially infinite entrance architectures.

l’arsenale: «The Arsenale of Venice was the beating heart, the hidden engine, the industrious secret of the Venetian naval force in which the ships that transformed Venice into a world power were manufactured.
L’Arsenale by Oikos is dedicated to those who design, to build entrance architectures and to Believe that every imagined solution is possibly feasible».

After leafing through the new catalogs, the technical novelties were presented and analyzed: they include the brand-new floor closing DAM Kit system, which guarantees the maximum performance of an invisible threshold while allowing a high isolation from external agents without the use of visible devices on the floor. Further new features were linked to Arckey, the automatic opening and access control system, now available and safely managed remotely.
Finally, we moved on to the world so beloved by designers – that of matter. It is with the new catalog «l’essenza» that the infinite theme of materials opens up, a collection of 167 finishes that bear witness of a world of customization and design possibilities.
Many new features have been introduced, including metallic lacquers, aluminum finishes, the new Laminam products, as well as the latest collection: The Natural Stone.
The alchemist, l’alchimista, the brand-new material library that Oikos offers and gives to its customers to enrich their showrooms with all the proposals in terms of coverings and finishes, is the guardian of the tangible matter.
Much more than a material library, a custom-built piece of design, «l’alchimista»: because its contents are as precious as are the people who, working together every day, make ambitious goals achievable.
